Join us for a casual get together on Friday, Oct 18, 2024!  Start your visiting early!  The location is Franklin's Backyard Bayou Bar & Grill.  We have the entire outside covered patio and grounds.  This will be a time to socialize but you will probably want to have a bite to eat as well!  Those of you that made it to our 45th reunion will remember how fun this "warmup" event was!  No charge for the event....just pay for what you would like to drink and/or eat.  The 20% gratuity will automatically be included on your bill.  Get the weekend started off right!

If you are a golfer (or even if you are not), come out and join some of your classmates for a morning of golf.  Don't play golf....come drive a beverage cart!  John Bournias, Kevin Pyle, and Jon New have arranged this outing and it is sure to be a fun time!  Everyone is welcome including spouses!  The format will be a 4 man scramble and the cost is $40 per golfer.  The details will be in the registration forms we send out soon!

If you are not playing golf on Saturday morning, you will have some free time to "rediscover" Victoria!  Visit some old stomping grounds or explore some new ones!  Have breakfast or lunch with old friends, take a stroll downtown in some of the new shops, or come out to Club Westerner and help decorate!  Some suggestions are:

• 1892 Victoria County Courthouse
• New shops in downtown area including: Peaches and Tortilla Mercantile, Lily Grace Boutique, Happy Hippie Bohotique, Mother Cluckers Market, 1839 & Co, Charlene's Gifts, Texian Books, Mitchell School Artisan Market
• Riverside Park & the Texas Zoo

Or for grins, take a spin in your car around the old circle at VHS!  Be sure you are listening to 70's music when you do it though! Kick back and enjoy.....that is what this entire weekend is about!

Join the VHS Class of '74 in celebrating the 50th anniversary of our graduation!  A fun filled evening is being planned!  Come and mingle with your classmates and catch up on old times as well as current times!  The main event will be held at the Club Westerner. The cost is $50 per person.  Please register on the form sent to you ahead of time so we will be sure to have enough food for everyone!

       7:00-8:00 PM Dinner   

       8:00-11:30 PM Dancing/Mingling/Cornhole
